Celebrating an anniversary at the Belvedere

Keep a empty stomach when visiting the Belvedere at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. I had an anniversary dinner there- (visiting the main dining room there for a second time (first time visit was to breakfast last year on a business trip---( BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN-busy though- bit of an "industry scene") I was in awe last week to see that the clientele was recognized by the staff at the door in a genuinely personal and professional way....favorite dishes- a must try: the foie gras !!! Clever presentation- i wanted more...the black bass with artichoke and olive nage made my mouth water at first glance and was impressed to taste that the dish delivered ! (only competition is Water Grill or Providence!)check it out- so awesome!

What were the prices like? I'm thinking of taking my mother here when she visits in a couple of weeks, but don't want to go overboard. Wondering if breakfast or lunch would be a better bet here. I did have a great breakfast here but it was a loooong time ago and I didn't pay...

      Hello LisaStich,

I know for a fact it's not cheap, but DEFINITELY worth it. It's not noisy either- try the hash- it's tasty!
