      <content>IRISH SODA BREAD

3 cups flour

1/4 tsp. baking soda

3tsp. baking powder

1 cup raisens

1 1/4 cup buttermilk

3/4 cup sugar

1 stick margarine

1 egg

Lightly beat sugar and margaine together.  Add eggs and lightly beat.  After combining flour, baking soda, baking powder and a pinch of salt, add alternately with buttermilk, ending with flour addition.  Lightly flour raisens and add to mixture.  Pour into large greased and floured loaf pan.  Bake 1hour or more in 350 oven or until the toothpick comes out clean.
