Glenside: lunch with kids?

I'm taking my two girls (4 and 7) to a matinee at the Keswick Theater in Glenside. Can anyone recommend a kid-friendly place for lunch in the area? Thanks!

OK, I don't know how Rizzo's used to be, but now it's a fine place to go with kids. Good pizza, they have crayons on hand, low-key so you don't care if your kid is a bit loud or likes to wander. I've never tried Pizza Box but it's on our list of things to try.

Don't go to Rizzo's! It's not the same as when Rizzo's actually owned it. The diner right near the Keswick Theater is good. Also, the Glenside Pub has good food, but a little smokey. A Chinese place called Jasmine near the Glenside Pub is very good, and Pizza Box on Limekiln Pike, one block up from Glenside Ave. has great pizza.

I second the Village Diner, especially for kids. I'd get there early b/c it'll probably be crowded for the show.

So Rizzo's is a no go but a smokey bar like the Glenside Pub is good for a 4 and 7 year old...what are you nuts?
