93 Harbord - Great Morroccan Fusion

Snarf Mar 12, 2007 03:22 PM

A good reasonable place with a decent wine list, and new takes on classic Morroccan and middle eastern food with great presentation. Still fairly new and undiscovered, so enthusiastic rather than attitude. Enjoy!

I've always liked this place. But I tend to think of the cuisine as leaning towards Lebanese than Moroccan.

Great local place...excellent service, nice decor and innovative morrocan cuisine...duck with sour cherries is a fav. Enjoy

Interestingly, I did a search on this site, and found out the well-hidden secret has been hidden for several years. Colour me blonde.

Yep, there was a chowmeet there a couple of years ago! :)

Morroccan cuisine fused with that other type of cusine?? Last I was there it was more 'just' morroccan then anything else. Perhaps a touch elevated.

Thanks - I'll definitely check it out.
I've been getting my Morrocan fix at The Sultan's Tent on Front Street. Everything I've tried there has been great (and I have tried every dessert!! with the yummy mint tea). Service is, um, relaxed. But for apres theatre or the no-rush friends catch-up it is perfect.

The food at The Sultan's Tent is great? First I've heard anyone say that.
