nutella and bread

chocolate and banana slices

sharp cheddar, thinly sliced onions (paper thin), thinly sliced tomato, whole grain mustard, ham (if you eat meat)

spinach and smoked gruyere

smoked duck, mango chutney, and smoked (or not) provelone

      <content>I really like potatoes sliced about 3/8" thick and rubbed with olive oil cooked on the p-press.

Ditto for warming up/crisping anything rolled in a flour tortilla.

Tried taquitos the other day and was pretty happy with the results.

Ropa viejo with mashed yuca and mojo on Cuban bread worked out well.</content>

      <content>Try using day-old croissants to make sandwiches, either sweet or savoury. 

And to everyone who doesn't have a panini press, you can use a George Foreman grill in the same way.</content>
