Roasted Red Bell Pepper Soup.......

I had a newspaper recipe that was excellent but I lost it. I think it used chicken stock with the vegetables and two cups of orange juice. I wanted to put something like shrimp or crawfish tails in it. What do you think. Should you use heavy cream. Thanks.

  1. Barbara Kafka has a recipe for a similar soup in her Soups cookbook - hers uses buttermilk. Shrimp or crawdads sounds good in a version with orange juice! I'd avoid using a dairy product with the oj, lest it curdle on you.
