Looking for a moderate priced place to eat in San Rafeal or close by tonight Broken Drum?
There is info if you do a search, but you'll need to spell it San Rafael.
Not too far away from Broken Drum:Sol (Puerto Rican cuisine)the sit-down place is at Lincoln and 3rdhttp://www.solfoodrestaurant.comorOm (south Indian cuisine)1518 4thThese are rather unique to San Rafael and worth a trip.
No microbrewery in San Rafael has good food.
You might like Il Davide. Or Om.

Mezzo Mezzo - Italianhttp://www.chow.com/digest/2062
Hearty second to Mezzo Mezzo. I knew there was something I was forgetting in my previous post.
Righto for Mezzo Mezzo - not inexpensive, pretty good.
Home made Tiramisu is a bit on the heavy side vs. Il Davide's ladyfinger type. I like both.
Home made Canoli was lip smackin' good - the real deal.
I read a piece in the IJ that said that David Hayden is back at Il Davide (original owner and Chef when the restaurant was in it's hey-day) ..............just visiting to revamp the menu.
