SAT-Riverwalk area
Greetings to the Texas CH's from the LA CH community,
My sister in law and her friend will be in San Antonio this coming week staying at the Marriott on the Riverwalk. She will have no car and is looking for rec's in the area that are not chains and not mexican food (I dont know why, I love SA mexican food myself) and money really isn't an issue. Please send me your best rec's.

schilo's is a great german deli. They have great daily specials and homemade rootbeer. I also like Harmon's BBQ right across from the Alamo plaza, by fudruckers. For high end, biga on the banks, or Le Reve if you can get in. The guy from Le Reve has a fish place open for lunch that is supposed to great called Sandbar. I also like his place called sip for coffee, pasteries and soup. Their all downtown and walking distance from the hotel.
