? Light or Soy Breakfast Sausage Recs

Lately, Brown and Serve light breakfast sausage has tasted nasty, very harsh tasting and not like sausage at all. Are there any light or soy based breakfast sausages that taste better? Thanks, Richie

If you live near a Trader Joe's, the TJ's Breakfast Patties are quite tasty. Your taste buds won't be completely fooled, but I'm used to them and like them a lot. They're in the freezer case.

Is that the soy one? If it is, I agree. Tastes awesome.

We also use the Gimme Lean--for sausage patties, also sometimes use it in chili and pasta dishes.

Morningstar is pretty good as fake sausages (I prefer the patty but I have a friend who much prefers the links) go. I like their fake bacon better than their fake sausages.

Interesting ... husband and I both prefer the Boca soy breakfast links - we think thy have better texture. Flavor-wise it's a draw, they both have a nice flavor.

Boca is, in general, much more natural and better for you. Flavorwise, I prefer Morningstar, hate that they use GMOs, food dyes and other preservatives.
