what happened to the group cookbook thing?

For the last year, I've been meaning to get involved in that group activity on this board in which people pick a cookbook and share experiences about recipes for a month. Now that I've decided to actually do it, I can't find it. Is it no longer happening or moved to another board?

Being new to this forum, I've not heard of the 'project' - but, it sure sounds like fun! Hope it gets off the ground.

Here's a list of the books that have been used so far :
The 1st was Sept. 2006, "..Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking" Marcella Hazan
Oct. 2006 "All About Brining" Molly Stevens
Nov. 2006 "Mexico One Plate at a Time" Rick Bayless
Dec. 2006 "Baking from my Home to Yours" Dorie Greenspan
Jan. 2007 "The Zuni Cafe Cookbook" Judy Rodgers
Feb. 2007 "Hot Sour Salty Sweet" Alford and Duguid
March 2007 was not a book, but online--"Leite's Culinaria"

Just search for Cookbook of the Month here in home cooking and you'll find lots of comments about each book, as well as how the system works. Very worthwhile!

This month's "cookbook" is Leites' Culinaria website. The main thread is here:

There are also separate threads for entrees, desserts, breads, appetizers, etc. Enjoy!
