Denver- late dinner with bar atmosphere

Whats a good place to get a bite to eat around 9pm and be able to hang out for drinks afterwards? Not too pricy and anywhere in denver that has parking.

    I love Mezcal also.

One other place to consider is Sketch food&wine in cherry creek. Despite its address, it's not pretentious. Maybe a little classier, less Colfax-y, than Mezcal, so depends on your mood.

One place that comes to mind is The Hornet on Broadway. They do have a couple of small parking lots on the Lincoln side, although if they are full parking can be an issue.

I would definitly second Mezcal. Depending on the day of the week and whats going on in the neighborhood parking can be pain though. I think they have a lot nearby but not sure.

Also Mexican would be LoLa in Highlands. They have a parking lot across the street. Great place for drinks and I am pretty sure they serve dinner at 9:00. Might be a little pricier then the others.

And there is Stubens a little East of downtown which has a parking lot next door.

I think a great place is Brix in Cherry Creek and Lodo but the parking is a pain so am hesitant to suggest. (Owned by the same family that owns Monticeto. FYI- Monticeto has valet parking but other then that parking is very difficult.

A hearty second for the Hornet. One of the places I miss now that I do not travel to Denver anymore.

Mescal on East Colfax was my favorite late-night hang. Interior Mex cuisine that's pretty good, and plenty of tequila from which to choose.

I will second (or third) Mezcal. There is usually street parking, and you can also park in the lot of the dry cleaners next door in the evenings.

Racine's is always a good bet. Fringe of downtown at 640 Sherman Street. Free parking -- I believe in their own garage. Full menu served till 11 early in the week and till midnight Wed thru Sat. Congenial bar.

I don't know about the parking issue, but Monticeto on 1120 East 6th Avenue is the newest venture from the Mel's ownership and looked like it had a great menu, in addition to a nice bar area that I checked out at 10:30pm on a Tuesday night, still going strong...

            Good luck!
