Going to meet another couple at the Bella Terra Mall area for lunch...any suggestions for a nice, casual lunch? Any food is fine.

I'd go to King's Fishhouse if it's going to be at Bella Terra. Mangia Mangia is down the street at Edinger and Goldenwest if you're in the mood for Italian.

Bella Terra is NOT a dining destination. As for eating, California Pizza is OK, as is King's for fish. Macaroni Grill can be OK if you keep it ultrasimple (like build your own pasta & insist on al dente), but no guarantees. OTOH, if you prefer insipid Italian try Pomodoro, for overgarlicky mediocre Italian and rowdy patrons try Buca di B, for gutless Greek try Daphne's, for overpriced uninspired chow in a hectic atmosphere try Cheesecake, for totally boring Mexican try La Salsa, you get the idea.

The Cravery. Comforting - and everything is made into a little pot pie. It's a quick service joint that I highly recommend to friends. It's a little pricey (about $10/person when you factor in a beverage, but they have combos), but worth the change in usual fare.
