Best Noodles & Dumplings in Cerritos area

Had my first noodle experience trying Saimin a week ago. I really enjoyed it. I LOVE noodles and want to explore many, many more. I have been reading your posts trying to get a grip on all the types of noodles, dumplings etc... Wow, there is a lot to learn for a gringo! I'm ready to move on now in the world of noodles/dumplings and am looking for suggestions. I live in the Cerritos/Lakewood area. Please advise where to go, what to order and any inside tips for a gringo that is completely lost in the noodle world!

  1. I know a lot of people don't really care for Guppy's but I like their spicy dumplings. Their noodle soups are ok. I use to go to Kim Tar for noodles, but haven't been there in awhile. There is a pho place across from the fire station called SuperBowl, use to go after church quite often, not sure how it is anymore. Finally, some of my Korean friends like the Ja-Ja mein at VIP on Pioneer.
