Any casual places for lunch in Paradise Valley?

Baxterita Mar 8, 2007 11:39 AM

I'm looking around 50th st. and Shea. Are there any decent/healthy quick bite places around there? Local chains are good but would like to try someplace new. Thanks!

If you are looking for healthy, there is the Soma Cafe at Tatum and Shea (just north of Shea on the west side of the street). There is also a La Parilla Suisa at Cactus and Tatum that has some decent grilled options and the like, but I haven't been there in ages.

i like cafe kobe on cactus near the pv mall. they have sushi, teriyaki, crepes, boba, etc.

also, i second seth's recommendation for soma cafe.

Cafe Kobe changed its name. Can't rememeber what it is called now, but it looks like it's still Japanese.

The Herb Box is a casual - sandwich, wrap , salad spot with sit down service.

If we're considering all the way east to Scottsdale and Shea, don't forget Sabuddy Israeli Restaurant.

There's also Eden's Grill at Tatum and Thunderbird for Middle Eastern food.

For good Japanese, I recommend Shogun on the east side of Tatum across from PV mall.
