Tia Pol For Lunch?

The restaurant is small, and they only accept reservations for groups of 6-8, if my girlfriend and I are going for lunch on a wednesday, should I worry about a wait?

I have been to Tia Pol for lunch and it's wonderful, much more relaxed. You have to get the chorizo con chocolate. and the little grilled skewers of lamb. enjoy.

Wow, I feel just a little stupid, I checked the website, Tia Pol serves lunch, but only from 12-3 on tues-fri, you're only going to find it for lunch if you go there for lunch. Ok, now that that's answered, what do you all reccommend ordering there?

hungry_fox, I've not yet managed to get to Tia Pol. A search brings up lots of posts -- http://www.chowhound.com/search?page=... -- and if you buzz through them, you will see that there are lots of raves (though an occasional dissent). The talk is mostly about the evening, how jammed it gets, etc. So, it would appear that not many Hounds have tried it for lunch. Ergo, the lack of response to your query.

Is the no responses a sign that I shouldn't go to Tia Pol in the first place? Most people rave about restuarants they like on this website constantly, I'm a bit surprised I haven't gotten any responses.

i think tia pol is great; although i have only been for dinner and brunch, i didn't know they served lunch
