we make broccoli salad, not so much slaw. It is 3 crowns of broccoli, washed, trimmed into florets of tiny pieces only and dried. Mix with a bunch of chopped green onions, a bag of craisins, slivered toasted almonds, 2 cups of shredded cheddar, 1/2 lb of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled and a bottle of good poppyseed or sweet and sour dressing. Mix and let sit overnight.
