Pea Tendrils

I live in Framingham. Does anyone know where I can buy fresh pea tendrils in the greater Metrowest area?

  1. I've seen them at Russo's. The Chinese groceries often carry them - Super 88 in Allston might have them. I've bought them often at C Mart but that's in Boston, not the Metrowest.

    1. I've seen them at Wilson's in Lexington, though only in season. I think spring or early summer.

      1. During the summer, you can get them in the Farmer's market on Edgell Road. They're super cheap, too - $3.00 a bag! I was excited when I discovered them last summer because they can be quite expensive at the markets.

The Hmong farmers have them at the Brookline farmer's market during the season too. Yum.

also at union sq and harvard sq farmer's markets during growing season. for now though, and for proximity to framingham, i'd second cheryl h's russo's tip. plenty of other great stuff to buy while you're there as well.

Thanks! I live close by Edgel, is the farmers market on the center green? Do you know when, what days, times the farmers market is?
