Ginger Ale recipe
Ciao Hounds,
Had a delicious home-made ginger ale in the Noho Star in NYC today. It seems obvious, but I had never even thought of it before.
My cookbooks are mute on the subject. Anyone got a tried and tested recipe?

Oh my! I worked at Noho Star in 1994 as a server. I can't believe they still have that ginger ale. Heck, I can't believe they're still open. Not that the food wasn't good; it's just been such a long time. Anyway, the ginger ale is not actually a true ginger ale, but it IS mighty tasty. It was simply simple suger(highly concentrated sugar water) mixed with minced, fresh ginger. A couple if squirts in a glass with basic soda water; stir and enjoy.
