Does anyone know anywhere in Seattle to get a good pot pie? Thanks!

I just notice today that Irwin's, at 40th and Bagley, in Wallingford, has a pot pie. The blueberry muffins, marionberry scones, and other baked offerings are sooo good, and use such great ingrediets, I have to guess the pot pie will be good also, though I've not been there at lunchtime.
Report back, if you try it, and I might call to ask if they will save one to take home.

The new Eat Local on Queen Anne sells frozen pot pies that you can bake at home. I tried the vegetable one, which had great flavor and a delicious buttery crust.

My only complaint was that the veggies were a little too mushy.

There's an "authentic aussie pies" shop in buuuuuteeeful downtown burien on 152. I've never been but may now have to stop in and try their wares.

Try T.S. McHughes in Lower Queen Anne. They claim to have the city's BEST Pot Pie, and I haven't tried many others, but theirs is damn good!

A & J Meats? They sell pot pies? Good to know. I'll have to pick one up next time I am there.

Pies and Pints is a solid call.
The pies are delicious, but a little small for the price. I always end up getting two.

It's up in the Roosevelt area on NE 65th

Had pot pie at VPC today and it was superb. Chicken and root veggies with peas, mmmm.

I visited VPC today (http://www.alwaysfreshgoodness.com/), and my companion had the chicken pot pie, which was excellent. I had a sandwich and a peanut butter cookie which were both quite good, a cinnamon roll and a blood orange lemonade that were both outstanding, and tomato soup that was so-so for the addition of carrots. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and the service was gracious.

I think they'll be seeing me again, despite the significant trek required from downtown.
