I just notice today that Irwin's, at 40th and Bagley, in Wallingford, has a pot pie. The blueberry muffins, marionberry scones, and other baked offerings are sooo good, and use such great ingrediets, I have to guess the pot pie will be good also, though I've not been there at lunchtime.
Report back, if you try it, and I might call to ask if they will save one to take home. -
The new Eat Local on Queen Anne sells frozen pot pies that you can bake at home. I tried the vegetable one, which had great flavor and a delicious buttery crust.

My only complaint was that the veggies were a little too mushy.

re: landguy
I visited VPC today (http://www.alwaysfreshgoodness.com/), and my companion had the chicken pot pie, which was excellent. I had a sandwich and a peanut butter cookie which were both quite good, a cinnamon roll and a blood orange lemonade that were both outstanding, and tomato soup that was so-so for the addition of carrots. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and the service was gracious.
I think they'll be seeing me again, despite the significant trek required from downtown.
