Food so good you could swoon in the West side

Looking for a delectable, healthy-decadent, ambrosia-elixir kind of dreamy dining experience. Budget is not a problem. In my imagination the light is low, the tables are spaced so one can reveal secrets that are only stirred when the food is swoonable.
I realize this sounds a wee bit odd - but I think you know what I mean.
I last time I had this experience was at a dinner party.
Now I want to have to two or even three times at a restaurant.
Thank you
Kind Regards

You might want to consider Vincenti. Had a great meal there last week. Food and service were impeccable. Atmosphere lovely.

          Nook is always simply delicious.
Joe's on Abbot Kinney and (even though it is not on the Westside) A.O.C.

Nook, "swoonworthy?" Not! Food is nice but that mini-mall and harsh lighting hardly make it a "swoonworthy" destination. Also, loud and there are only a couple of private booths.

What about La Cachette on Little Santa Monica Blvd. in Century City?

Kiriko: the omakase, including at lunch, often has "swoonable" items. Particular standouts -- the seared toro with ponzu, pickle, and some other sauce (the combination of flavors are hard to describe, but the slightly warm toro with almost carmelized fat makes the texture unbelievable); house smoked salmon; toro; bluefin (actually, a lot of the different fish); and the homemade ice cream. At dinner, from the larger menu, the smoked salmon wrapped around mango is always excellent. I've also had some wonderful specials. A few that stand out include a softshell crab served over curried risotto was incredible and bamboo shoots in miso. Swoonable dessert specials I've had (aside from the ice cream) are kabocha pumpkin creme caramel and green tea creme brule.

Spago tasting menu. Pricey, but every item we had the last time was very good, and many were incredible. I particularly loved the fois gras preparation, the frogs' legs, and the best rabbit dish I've ever tried.

I know there is disagreement over Melisse and Valentino, but I've had some incredible tasting menus at those restaurants that satisfy your definition of swoonable. I have not been to Urusawa, but it sounds like it definitely fits the bill.

Josie always makes me swoon... and if you love fancy fancy food, Melisse could do it too.

I don't know about Mako, and will look into it.
                      Thank you.
I also realized that the last sentence of my post was
                      obscure, not to mention obtuse.
What I meant to communicate, in the last line, was I would
love to have this kind of memorable 'swoonable' experience in a restaurant a few times.
With swoon, I don't mean to pass out, I mean the feeling - of - this is soooo good - i need to pause long enough to take in this 'amazing meal'.
