name of french restaurant on 42nd next to Bank Street Cafe?

Does anyone know the name of the French restaurant on 42nd bet 8/10th, next to Bank Street cafe? I had a decent lunch there about a year ago and consider taking some out of town friends for dinner. Would be interested if it's still open and opinions about the food recently. Should I go to Le Madeleine around the corner instead? Open to suggestions of a mid=priced, quiet place for conversation in hell's kitchen.

      Chez Josephine is on the southside of 42nd, I was thinking of the northside of the street. Thank you for trying, though!
