Why does Tamale House not serve any tamales?

Is it a cruel joke? Did they use to serve tamales at one time? Are the tamales off the menu and you have to ask? Is there a secret codeword?

PROTIP: You can get cheese migas or cheese huevos rancheros and sub the refried beans for guacamole. [Note: one guy there will upcharge you a quarter, but the rest of the staff will just take the substitution and execute it w/ no complaint or fee.]

PROTIP: You can get a delicious bean-cheese-guac-beef tostada and get them to throw a little extra cheese on top and briefly heat the sucker in the oven to melt the cheese on top (and slightly blacken the bottom of the tostada) for bonus deliciousness.

PROTIP: While waiting for your order, be sure to fill up lots of to-go salsa containers! You'll need these later when delivering the order to your coworkers.

All hail the mighty Tamale House, defender of the true meaning of "Classic Tex-Mex".
