  1. Dommy! and I went a few months ago and it was wonderful. We think now it might not be the same anymore since when we went Nancy Silverton was behind the bar making all of the delectables we were served and she has moved on to this little restaurant called Mozza ;-) But Jar may have stolen her recipes and might execute them well but I don't know of anyone who has been since she left.

WTF? Above response is a total non-seq.

Silverton was never at Jar? Campanile never had Mozzarella Monday.

She certainly was at Jar, I met her there. I haven't been to Monday Night at Jar for a while, but I was there after Nancy left. Their meatball sandwiches are the only ones I'll eat. And burrata, sweet burrata...yum....

When Nancy sold that bakery and left Campanile and was planning Mozza she ran a one day a week event at Jar called Mozzarella Mondays. It had nothing to do with Campanile. Her presence was always supposed to be temporary and I imagine the agreement in advance was that Jar would retain the concept, as Campanile retained Thursday night grilled cheese. When Mozza was going to open she departed to concentrate on the new business.

I saw her with my own eyes at the End of the bar at Jar.

around that time she was also supposed to be doing Antipasti Tuesdays At La Terza:

        2. I met someone for drinks at Jar one night, mostly because I am addicted to their homemade potato chips. I was very bummed when they did not have them, due to Mozzarella Monday. Such feelings did not last long when we ordered a couple of things off the menu. It was just wonderful. For instance, we ordered the Burrata, pesto, tapenade, salsa romesco, caper-berry relish... not only was the burrata outstanding, but the various sides were incredible. Give it a try!
