Hi,

I'm looking for good take-out -- especially Chinese -- the best (not great) was Tang Tang, which is about to become a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins

DO NOT call Tang Tang's number if you have a menu, they sold the number to a terrible take-out place

Thanks

I like Home's Kitchen on 21st btw. Park and Broadway, The Cottage at 16th and Irving and Chef 28 on 28th btw. Park and Madison. All solid Chinese delivery and takeout, if nothing to blow you away.

I have been dissapointed with Tina lately. I used to love it. Now I prefer Friendhouse for my quick, good chinese delivery.

Dont know how to break this to everyone but both Chinatown (14thstreet between 2nd and 3rd) and Tina's (3rd ave between 13th and 14th streets) have also closed thier doors (at least tinas has chinatown's been turned into a Thai sandwich shop. Theres a new place called Shanghai that opened on 3rd at 29th but its a bitt pricey and to be honese the only thing I actually liked were the salt and pepper ribs. also skip the Summer Palace (ever since Mee's took it over, everyting tastes like every other Mee) BTW to same me some tromping does anyone know if Lam's garden on 4th ave at 9th st. is still there?

The Cottage is pretty good, as is Home's Kitchen.
