What should we be looking for in the stores this next month? When wil rhubarb be in season?

    fiddlehead ferns, stinging nettles, sprouting broccoli, spring garlic, wild ramps, CA strawberries, morels, muscat grapes, peppercress.

            saw some plant city Fla strawberries in the market yesterday that looked divine! 2.50 a pint.

              In the Midwest, it seems our typical spring produce - artichokes, asparagus, strawberries, all must be affected by the California freeze in January. We adore chokes and they want $5/a piece! Oranges have been very expensive too.

                I bought my first rhubarb of the season last week at a local international market. I saw it again today at Wild Oats.
