iso of sickling raw pig

any recommendations for sickling raw pig, where to buy ?

    I requested one between 15 and 20 lbs. I had heard that 20lb was the limit to fit in my oven. They wound up supplying a 19lb suckling. It fit fine. It even fit in my turkey pan after I curled the legs underneath it. I think a 25lb pig would easily fit in my oven, which is standard sized, but my turkey pan would have been too small.

      any idea what is the smallest you can get between 12-16 lb ?

        I bought one in December at Halsted Packing House at 445 N Halsted. Was pretty cheap too. The 19 lb'r was less that $40. Call about a week in advance of pick up.

          There is a market in the West Loop, I believe on Peoria and Lake, that has uncooked suckling pig. I may have the cross-street wrong, but I'm positive it's on Lake underneath the El tracks.
