Anyone know how the food is there? I've heard the pub like atmosphere is very historic, but I'm wondering more about the food. Thank you!

Very average American fare. It is not bad but not great either. People usually go to "experience" the place rather than the food.

The food is average to good. It's not pub fare--it's priced higher and aspires to be somewhat refined. During lunch it's largely a work crowd.

I went with my boyfriend for my birthday and had a great time. The restaurant is obviously historic, but the food was good as well.

Nice for a special occasion meal.

I really like the seafood cobb salad - its kind of pricey but a good version; although sometimes you can taste the iodine in the shrimp.
