Four Seasons report

Went y'day (Sat night, so we did have to wait around 25 mins to get a table!) to Four Seasons in London. Rumors were accurate - their roast duck is to die for. Absolutely delicious. We do plan to visit again. We had a great meal for 15 quid per person.

      Very moist inside, and nice crispy skin. Very flavorful. Also, very tasty sweet sauce came with it. We thought it was a great meal for under 15 pounds per person.

        Maybe it would be good to clarify for tourists that this Four Seasons has nothing to do with the hotel chain. :-)

          Very true. Hopefully people will pick that up by looking at the reported price range though!

            Very good point. As a yank, who is in the UK (primarily London, Mayfair) twice per year, and is a serious chowhound, I would have "assumed" that this was one of the restaurants at a Four Seasons hotel, say Park Lane Area. Thanks for the clarification - greatly appreciated, especially as we both love duck and are *always* looking for new dining spots, especially in the Mayfair District.

              I'm a Yank, too, and still getting to know where to eat in London and nearby as I now have settled here. I naturally associated Four Seasons with the hotels but thank goodness for Google! In the States the restaurant probably would have been sued. :-)
