Near the Albertson's on Campus/California is Gina's Pizza and Pastaria. Fairly decent, inexpensive. They run specials on Monday or Tuesday nights, with all you can eat spaghetti for $6.

On the other end of campus is Marco Polo. It's located near the Champagne Market, on the other side of MacArthur from Wildfish/Islands/Daphnes. At MacArthur and Bison. Good breadsticks, a little more upscale and pricier, though not expensive.

There's an Olive Garden at Culver/Alton, if you call that italian.

Pomodoro is also a nice little italian place you might want to check out.

Soprano's is a small inexpensive place with good pasta in Costa Mesa (Newport Blvd and Santa Isabel).

Haus of Pizza (Adams/Harbor) in Costa mesa.
Cheap Italian food. There's a lunch special everyday but Friday, and it's about 2/3 the price of Pasta Connection. However, Pasta Connection does use their own fresh pasta, so i think the quality and taste are better.
