EASTSIDERS I NEED YOUR HELP(silverlake,los feliz,echo park,east hollywood)..

I'm going to see a movie with my dad this evening at the vista and we are going to catch a late lunch/early dinner(around 3:30/4ish). Since its such a nice day today he wanted to eat at a nice outdoor cafe(or anything outdoor). any rec's for good outdoor dining in the eastside(maybe even in the junction)? thanks

  1. Been a couple years but Netty's is fun.

I believe that Netty's is now closed and is in the process of being turned into a new restaurant.

    2. Home on Hillhurst is always a good choice (http://www.homelosfeliz.com/). Casita Del Campo has decent Mexican (http://casitadelcampo.com/). And Rudolpho's has good steaks and one of the nicest patios in the area. It's on the corner of Riverside and Fletcher.

      1. At that time of day most places are closed between meals but Alcove which is less than a mile north of the Vista on Hillhurst is open all day long and most of their seating is outdoor.

        1. Madame Matisse is tiny, with only about six table outside. But the food is great and it's just down from the junction. No wine or beer, though.
Also, I don't think Cliff's Edge is open that early but it might be worth checking. Decent food. But the best outdoor space around.

          1. Silver Lake, Los Feliz = Eastside?

The only thing Los Feliz or Silver Lake are east of is the west side, Hollywood or Beverly Hills.

As a native Angeleno, I definitely think Los Feliz and Silverlake can be considered east. What's up with the geography police?
