Combination Pizza Cutter/Pie Server/Cheap/Plastic?

potterstreet Mar 3, 2007 10:33 AM

my good pal has lost her favorite kitchen gadget and i have been on a quest to find another one. she got it at the wishing well at her wedding shower a long time ago and though it was the cheapest piece of s--t ever, she seems to lament its loss more than she laments her divorce :)

it was like a pie server with a plastic cutting wheel on it, cheap as chips. we think we tossed it in the trash with the pizza box after a night of eating and drinking. she really misses it and i'd love to be able to find one for her. i've searched high and low to no avail! if anyone can lead me in the direction of something like this, i'd be grateful.

One would almost expect the brand-name "Ronco" on that. "It slices, it cuts, but wait, it is also a server. Three tools in one! All for the amazing low price of $7.86 <soft voice mode>plus freight, shipping and handling</soft voice mode>"

It actually looks like a useful little tool.

I'm sure it worked the same as the one on your link. I am also sure it was a much cheaper, all plastic pizza tool. We used to have one, never really used it and I have no idea whatever happened to it. They were usually given away by pizza places. By the way, I suppose it could be used on an apple pie, but it is meant to cut and serve pizza. Usually, pizza that has already been cut but needs a little help.

Edit: The good news is I found a website that sells these pizza cutters for $1.34 each. The bad news is you have to order a minimum of 125 of them.

I cannot believe I am wasting this much time on this silly thing:

The above link is for the slice and serve pizza cutter from cooking.com and should be exactly what the OP and what Tammy are searching for.
