After having Le Bernardin's formidable "flight of fluke" ceviche I am looking to find the freshest fluke in the City for my own feeble attempt at it. Any suggestions, please?
I have bought fluke for sashimi at Katagari on 59th Street. But they usually come in small fillet and not like the big ones you get in fish markets.
Jamaica Bay? We used to fish for fluke 20+ years ago. I always thought of it as poor man's flounder.
