Looking for some Veal Francesca in San Diego

I used to have a place I went as a child in LA but would love to find a San Diego restaurant that makes a good version of this.

It's basically this: veal dipped in a light egg/cream batter sauteed with lemon butter and white wine.

  1. Don't have a rec for it, but the dish (or something very similar) is often known as veal piccata. In fact, I don't recall ever seeing a Veal Francesca listed on a menu.

It's a bit different than piccata, The batter is different.
