substitute Bundt pan

A cake receipe calls for a 12-cup Bundt pan. I want to make a layer cake instead (for a birthday). Would two 8 inch layer pans do? and guess I should reduce the 1 hour 25 minutes of baking time by a bit?

Whenever I see the mention of Bundt pan I remember the scenes from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"! too funny...

    two 8" or 9" pans should do fine.
