Fregola ideas?

Hi, I bought a bag of fregola and want any chowhound tips/recipes--thanks!

      Caramelize a few diced red onions with balsamic vinegar ( I start the onions on the stove top, once they start to brown, add some balsamic and put in the oven at 250 for an hour or more). Saute diced portabello mushrooms and diced butternut squash. Cook fregola in chicken broth. When done add the onions, mushrooms, squash, fresh tarragon, salt & pepper.

          here's my question on cooking: Do i cook it like rice, couscous or pasta?? i.e. is there a water to fregola ratio i need to keep in mind, or do i just toss it into boiling liquid?

            I cook it in a minimal amount of chick broth, bring broth to boil and let the fregola soak up most of the broth as it cooks. Or you can cook it like pasta in lots of salted water and drain.
