Why do I pass veal farms on the way to Mt.Snow and yet both Shaws and the small local market do not carry it???
Could be the farms are supplying restaurants and not retail markets. Also, many farms in Vermont sell their products via mail order.
Yes, I know many meat producers who sell almost exclusively to restaurants, but some do sell direct to the public at farmers markets, seasonally. You could always try calling them and they may be willing to sell to you directly.
