PHO- West Hollywood/ westside

I was recently introduced to Pho via Absolutely Phobulous on La Cienega, and am loving it. I think this place is great, but have no basis for comparison, so would love some suggestions of other places to try out nearby. AP also has the benefit of being down the street from me, but still want to see what else is out there and what may be better...

I love the Pho Cafe in Silverlake. There's no sign out front so it's easy to miss. It's right where Sunset hits Silverlake Blvd. in that little shopping center behind the burger joint. Try the lemongrass beef and shrimp noodles.

There's also La Saigon on Santa Monica Blvd. in West LA.

You'd really have to venture beyond the Westside to get better pho. AVOID all the pho places in K-Town, but I guess if you really really really have to, Pho 4000 on Western is at least owned by Vietnamese people, not Koreans.

The closest that I really like is actually up in the SFV at Pho So 1. They have two locations (Van Nuys and Reseda). Beyond that, San Gabriel. Beyond that, Garden Grove.

Pho Hoa and Pho 79 in downtown L.A's Chinatown are passable, too (especially relative to anything in K-town).
