Anyone know where I can buy a bottle of the Italian digestivo Fernet Branca ... or actually, the mint-flavored version, Brancamenta? ABC doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about, and I buy liquor infrquently enough that I don't really know where else to look.

This may be a long shot but call the best Italian place in town and ask to speak with the Beverage Manager. Ask him for what you are looking for and he might be able to tell you which alcohol company carries it. From there, you can call the rep and ask which retail places sell it. He should be able to do it with a quick look on his computer.

If memory serves me correctly Premier Beverages distributes Fernet Branca in the area, should be simple to go to a smaller, independent liquor store and ask them to order you a bottle.

According to an Internet search, Brancamenta is distributed in the U.S. by Wilson Daniels. The "where to buy" section of their Web site is under construction, but you can drop them an email or call them:
