  1. I believe Whitehouse Meats in the St. Larwence Market sells duck.

Whitehouse in the St. Lawrence Market has whole fresh ducks, fresh duck legs, fresh duck breast, smoked duck breast, duck fat and duck leg confit. That's where I buy duck products. I've bought them all except the duck fat.

Unless you're making your own duck confit, you probably won't need to buy duck fat, since a package of two confited legs will have a half cup or so of duck fat, and a fresh duck, duck breast or fresh duck legs will yield quite a bit of fat when cooked. Just drain it off and keep it in the refrigerator or freezer for cooking potatoes or veggies.

Di Liso's and Chris Cheesemongers in the St. Lawrence Market also carry some duck products.

    2. Asian supermarkets have all manner of duck. I was at T & T at Bathurst and Centre yesterday, and they had bone-in duck legs, boneless duck breast, whole ducks, etc. I'm sure they'll cut it to order for you, and provide you with fat, as well.

I seem to remember someone mentioning that The Healthy Butcher has duck fat, and I seem to remember seeing some at Cumbrae's on Bayview last week.

      1. Also the poultry shops at Kensington Market, esp the one on St. Andrew street, next to the Bright Pearl restaurant.

        1. Try Reesor's at the Thornhill Farmer's Market.

          1. Cumbrae's on Church as all the duck bits you're looking for
