Glatt Kosher Near Philadelphia, PA

  • k

I have two professional guests visiting from Jerusalem for three days in March. I've been informed that both are very strict Glatt Kosher. They will stay at a hotel about 45 minutes north of the city (in North Wales) and all food (3 meals per day) will need to be delivered. I've contacted Best Value Kosher Meats, but wanted to see if there were other suggestions or ideas before committing to them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. There is a store in Allentown, PA (about 40 mins from North Wales) called Abe's Place that does prepackaged meals and may be able to arrange to have the meals delivered to the hotel. Their number is (610) 435-1735.

    1. Also try Agby Kosher in Manyunk - their food is excellent.

Do you have any more information? Have not heard of Agby and can't find them with google.

      2. Unfortunately, Best Value went out of business. You may do best going with a caterer or one of the big delivery companies like Noah's Ark. Thank you.

        1. Try Kosher Experience in Shoprite in Cherry Hill (NJ)

I believe there is a Kosher Experience in Shoprite in Northeast Philly, closer to North Wales than Cherry Hill.

They are not closing, and I understand that they do arrange for "catered" meals of all kinds.
