Hello Everyone,

I recall a posting asking about a Japanese Tea Ceremony/Japanese tea service within the last couple of weeks. I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where the posting would be or have any suggestions? Thank you! I'm a huge tea lover!

I loved the tea at Wild Lily Tea Room in W. Chelsea but I have heard that this has closed unfortunately. My runner up would be the Tea Box at Takashimaya on 5th Ave. It is a lovely environment with a large selection of interesting teas and light meals/snacks. They also have a shop where you can buy loose teas to take home.

Thanks everyone. I thought that there was a thread somewhere from last week or the week before, but I can't find it.

Cha-An on 9th St. b/w Stuyvesent and 2nd Ave. offers traditional Japanese tea ceremonies - decently priced as well. Haven't experienced it, but I have visited the place several times and have enjoyed their meals - not too heavy and authentic Japanese.
