Hello we will be in Tokyo staying at the MO in Nihonbashi fro 3 days at the end of March. I would appreciate reccommendations fro where to eat. We need somewhere for the Friday night and since we will have flown in from Sydney probably not somewhere too far away. I am just learning about the different types of eateries- kaiten, izakaya, depichecka (forgive spelling) shabu-shabu. For Saturday morning we plan on going to the fish market for some sushi hopefully Sushi Daiwa but will need places for lunch and dinner in the Shibuya area. On Sunday we were thinking of going to Harakuju so again rec's welcomed. On Sunday night we are booked in to the Molecular Tapas Bar..
Quite happy to try anything.
Thanks again!

      ...and it's "Harajuku" and "depachika".

    2. In Harajuku there is a really fun place where you can cook your own okonomiyaki and admire some interesting art. There are all sorts of combinations, cheap pitchers of beer, and an English menu including cooking instructions. Every time I've been here it has always been a blast and the okonomiyaki are small enough that you can order a few different kinds and not get too stuffed, which is nice because okonomiyaki can get really filling.
