Need some help for Vancouver

Our family will be traveling to Vancouver in June for our daughter's wedding. We will be taking everyone out to dinner after the ceremony in Stanley Park. Where is a good place for about 10 people to eat. We're looking for someplace we can get noisy and have fun.

Parkside is *NOT* a place to 'get noisy and have some fun'-acting like that would put a severe crimp in the other diner's evenings.

Cardero's is what you're looking for-and close by as well.

Also from the same owners of Cardero's is Sandbar:
Sandbar Seafood Restaurant On Granville Island
      1535 Johnston Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada - (604) 669-9030

        I LOVE the Parkside:
        Parkside Restaurant
        www.parksiderestaurant.ca
1906 Haro Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada -

The food is incredible but it is not a noisy, be seen place~ it is for serious diners and more intimate atmosphere.

No one is suggesting the Fish House in Stanley Park. I've only eaten there once ages ago, so I can't really comment, but the location would seem hard to beat. Perhaps lacking the fun factor? Any thoughts?

I saw Fish House online and was waiting to see if anyone would recommend it. It looks lovely.

lift is terrible - on more than one occasion we've left lift, upset and gone to cardero's where they were lovely and more reasonable prices.

i would definitely suggest parkside though - it's just off the lagoon in stanely park and fantastic!!

Cardero's looks like it might be the place for us.

I've not read good things about Lift online. I will check out Parkside. Thanks.

                Noisy and fun?
Cardero's in Coal Harbour...it is a more casual experience but it is on the water and the times I have been there the atmosphere has been very lively.

I like Cardero's, but it's very noisy - so be warned.

You could see if you could reserve the UPPER deck at LIFT in Coal Harbour.

Checked it out online. The website is incredible. Read some reviews, which weren't too flattering. Do you have any more thoughts on this?

The food is totally average (well, maybe slightly better) but the view from the top is spectactular. June is a funny month not always patio season and if it rains...no good.

                        Sanafir.
They have some "beds" upstairs that are semi private. I belive they have a minimum spend of $500 but that shouldnt be too hard to reach with a group of 10.

Take over the lounge area of the Sylvia Hotel, right on the water!
