Orlando seafood recs for business dinner

Phoenix Chowhound visiting Orlando for one day next week to meet clients. I'm looking for a great, local seafood restaurant that would be appropriate to take business associates. Nothing super casual, but it doesn't have to be formal or over the top. Just good seafood in a nice environment. Someone mentioned Moon Fish and Flying Fish. I'm staying near the airport, but I wouldn't mind going 30 minutes away for something good. Thank you for your help.

My family recently went to Orlando for my Mom's 60th. It was a special time, so I wanted to make sure we went to a nice place for dinner each night. I did a bunch of research and finally settled on Jack's Place in the Rosen Plaza for out Saturday night dinner (be careful, there are several Rosens, but Jack's Place is at the Rosen Plaza). What an amazing time we had! The food and service were amazing--even with our waiter helping another couple of waiters out with a party of 50! We had 8 people total in our party--all GOOD food lovers--and no one was disappointed.

You can check out their web site here: http://www.jacksplacerestaurant.com. Be sure to check the "Specials" page--there is actually a buy one meal, get one half off coupon. But please don't let the offer of the coupon deter you--there was nothing "cheap" or unclassy about this place!

Here's a review of the place too: http://www.orlandoweekly.com/dining/r...

There is another place close to the airport that you should be aware of. I have not eaten there and have gotten everything from raves to harsh reviews on it. It is called Fish on Fire (www.fishonfireorlando.com), (7937 Daetwyler Dr., Belle Isle, FL 32812, (407) 812-6881).

It is described as a sort of roadhouse and may not be ideal for a business dinner, depending on your kind of business. But it is much closer and was at least worth mentioning, I thought.

Another good place is Roy's on Sandlake Rd. A great place to eat........fish with a Pacific Rim flair.

You would probably be served quite nicely by the Bonefish Grill on West Sand Lake Road. (7830 W Sand Lake Rd., Orlando, FL 32819, (407) 355-7707).

Do not get mixed up with Fishbones or Moonfish, both of which are different restaurants run by another cmpany in the same neighborhood. Nothing wrong with either of them -- but they are more upscale than you describe.

Another suggestion would be McCormick & Schmick's in the Mall at Millenia (4200 Conroy Rd., Orlando, FL 32839, (407) 226-6515). Also a chain, like Bonefish, but high quality, fresh seafood, well prepared at reasonable prices.

There isn't anything appropriate near the airport.
