Mo's Burgers?

Anyone have the lowdown on Mo's. I'm visiting from NY and was told they're great. Also, any other burgers, sandwiches, pizza, tacos...

  1. I have always enjoyed Mo's Burgers ,and think it could be favorably compared to Mrs. Bartley's Burger Cottage in off Hahvahd Squaya. I would specify the North Beach branch , where the burgers usually come out done as specified . My last visit to the Yerba Buena branch brought overcooked meat and over-battered onion rings. Onion rings are not available on Grant Ave.(no loss)but the french fries are are not to be missed (or dissed)

I've had the same experiences with Mo's North Beach vs. Yerba Buena. Mo's NB is always good and properly done. Mo's YB was over-cooked and seemed sloppy and sort of ill-prepared.

    2. mmmm, i love mo's burgers. was treated there by a coworker (the NB mo's) and have been back many times since. not only are they tasty but there's a lot of meat so you get a lot for what you are paying for. plus the flavor is definitely there when you take that first bite. the fries are nice and hot and try the chocolate raspberry shake.

      1. Another big fan of Mo's here, but only the North Beach branch. I used to work near the Yerba Buena Mo's, but stopped going after a few disappointments.
