Private Lunch for 12-15 in Midtown ATL
I am coming to town for a morning informal wedding on a Friday. I also need to find a post wedding lunch place. Private room or an alcove dining area would be nice. Moderate price would be great, but $20 a plate is doable. Midtown area would nice, but good food knows no boundaries : ) Any suggestions?

I agree with nelson32 about South City Kitchen in Midtown. They have a couple different alcove areas upstairs that would accomodate 12-15 people. I used one of the areas for my bridesmaid's luncheon in 05. There were 13 of us and it worked out perfectly. I'm pretty sure for a lunch you easily do $12-$20 a plate. Plus, the food is great!

Here are a few ideas. Trois is a new restaurant located in the heart of Midtown that would be a great choice for lunch on a Friday. It is a contemporary French bistro and has some private areas for lunch. (www.trois3.com)
Sourh City Kitchen Is another place that has been around for awhile but is still a great spot. As for private dining, I believe that they have an upstairs that would easiy accommodate a party of 15. The food is reinterpreted Southern and crowd-pleasing. (www.southcitykitchen.com
One of my favorites in Midtown is Nan, a Thai fine dining restaurant. They are also open for lunch on Friday. They have a great communal table that would be a great spot for after a wedding. Check it out at www.nanfinedining.com
Good luck
