I had an outstanding lunch at Cochon on Friday. Wish that place had been around when I lived in the city. For the first time, NOLA has a true destination Cajun restaurant. A must trip for anyone who digs on swine or oysters or seafood or brisket . . .
went a few days ago for a lunch, and it was a sensational meal. we ordered the wood fired oyster roast, chicken livers, boucherie plate, special salad (green onion dressing with fried bologna strips and 6 minute eggs), and cochon. pitcher of abita. finished with lane cake and sweet corn ice cream. every dish was tasty and indulgent and great. attentive and friendly service, chef's counter seats were a nice treat.
