I have to admit that I like the PBS shows "An Ice Cream Show", "A Hotdog Show", and "Sandwiches You Will Like". Has anyone gotten the DVD of the sandwich show? Does it have extra info and is it worth it. Same goes for the sandwich book. Is it worth getting and will it turn me on to any great sandwiches.

If you like the show, you might dig this excellent site, dedicated to sandwiches, dogs, greasy spoons, diners and bbq. It was created by Holly Moore, who is featured in the show talking about lobster rolls. There is also a link, I believe on the home page, to the Sandwiches show. Check it out:

I LOVE hollyeats.com. I just wish he was able to update it more frequently. I've already drooled over all the restaurants on the site.

I think I've seen the DVDs at Netflix, but f course that only helps if you subscribe.
