El Diablo Rojo??
I always walk past El Diablo Rojo on Peel and Rene-Levesque every now and then, and its almost always empty or closed. Has anyone ever been here?? If you have, how was it? Were there any good deals?
Same owner as the Piment Rouge. Food is marketed as Cuban with a twist. Dishes are unusual, but homey and nothing to write home about. The decor aims for trendy but is done on the cheap (pre-fab wood flooring used as wall panels?!) Combined with the lack of buzz I find the overall effect to be slightly despressing except maybe for 5 à 7.
