Searching for French Macarons

Hey 'hounders,
I'm having a huge craving for some French macarons. I'm not talking about those coconut macaroons, please. I know Joyce Bakeshop has some but is there any other bakeries that makes these delightful little cookies? Thanks in advance.

Bouchon Bakery has macarons (on the large side) in the Time Warner building at Colombus Circle. I like Payards as well.

i didn't know what you were talking about until I had some from Kee's Chocolate about a month ago. Heavenly! Kee's version has delicate flavors matching up with the whispy characteristics of French macarons...It's intensely fleeting, if that's imaginable...

        90 Thompson street in SOHO.

Try Patisserie Margot...wonderful little french bakery in the Ansonia on west 73rd street. And, terrific marble pound cake...best I've had in years.

ALMONDINE in DUMBO has some gorgeous and delicious authentically French macaron

That particular pastry is always a little expensive because ti is so labor intensive..

Patisserie Financier...three stores in lower Manhattan (Stone St., William St. and the World Financial Center). Their macarons are just about the best outside of Gerard Mulot's in Paris (photo attached).
